A teenager’s war, 1942-1945 is an artistic album made by the painter Frederick V. Carabott, of English descent, depicting the memories and experiences of his captivity during the Second World War. It is a trilingual publication with concise text running along with the drawings, in English, Greek end German.
The album Barkoff in Greece presents 205 drawings by the Russian-Finnish painter Alexander Barkoff, along with texts on the artist’s life and work. Barkoff settled in Greece in 1927 and died in Athens in 1942. His works, among the first modernist watercolours in Greece, virtuously depict the human essence of the Greek urban space of the time.
